RE/MAX has 12.5% market share in Portugal

Accrued for the first nine months of the year results confirm the increase in sales over the leases. While sales grew by 26% over the same period last year leases verified a decrease of 11%.

Lisbon, Cascais, Sintra, Oeiras, Almada and Porto are the counties where the majority of sales and leases are concentrated. The T2 (42%) remains as the preferred by the Portuguese in the overall analysis of transactions, followed by T3 (29%), T1 (20%) and T4 (6%).

Remax Portugal closed the year 2013 with about 20,000 properties transacted, bringing to 107 454 the volume of transactions made over the past four years. With sales exceed EUR 1,100 million in 2013, there was a 30% growth in turnover over the previous year, this being the second best year ever since the brand operates in Portugal 14 years ago.
