SPRINT, MARATHON AND REAL ESTATE MEDIATIONin Professional Realtor
For those who, being real estate professionals, the title of this article should not raise many questions. As for the general public, supposedly implies a segmentation or perception of completely different activities.
Let's see, in the light of a broader perspective, what may be common in these activities. Many will say - nothing, these activities have nothing in common - Well let me tell you, these activities have much in common: focus, dedication, ambition and resilience; are just some of the characteristics common to these activities, which occur to me at the moment but that, in general, summarize the essential.
We can see that in each of these activities the participants play "roles" totally opposite. The marathoner makes an "effort management" as the "sprinter" has to give everything in 100m. The big question is: but what has the real estate to do with it? Let's see:
The real estate agent is that professional to whom is required focus, dedication, ambition and resilience, knowing this beforehand, who has before him a 'marathon' in which often has "sprints" to get results.
The real estate agent is a professional, as the marathon runner or "sprinter", hold a high degree of training, expertise and experience that allows him to focus, overcome, renew himself and thus leverage his business.
Being a Realtor is like running a "marathon" in which, often, the real estate agent has to "sprint" to succeed or, in other words, achieve results. As in activities such as "Sprint" or "marathon" in real estate, factors such as focus, dedication, ambition and resilience are fundamental, such as building blocks to success. In my perspective, in real estate, the success is measured not only by the results of a "sprint" but during a "marathon", ie, the success is the result of a "marathon" made up of many "sprints". - Nuno Riobom Santos -
Ego aside, we know the results of "sprints" but the major focus, frankly, should be the marathon.
